Student Media

Campus media organizations provide journalism students with invaluable opportunities to practice and improve their knowledge and skills.

  • The Current Sauce, a weekly, student-run newspaper, has been printed since the 1920s and has an online edition.
  • The Potpourri yearbook has been published annually since 1909.
  • KNWD 91.7 FM, the campus radio station, covers approximately 20 miles from the Northwestern campus.
  • NSU TV, the campus television station, airs over the local cable system.

Each organization provides a range of experiences and welcomes students from freshman to seniors. Unlike at many larger universities, you can be involved starting your first semester!
